Every two years, the STC, PennDOT and our transportation partners update Pennsylvania’s 12-Year Transportation Program (TYP). Public input is an important part of the update process. The open public comment period for the 2021 TYP update was held March 11 through April 26, 2019.
The Online Public Meeting was held on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. If you were unable to attend the live meeting, you can watch a recording.
The Transportation Survey was available during the open public comment period from March 11 through April 26, 2019. The survey results will help inform the STC, PennDOT, and our transportation partners as they incorporate public transportation priorities into the TYP update.
The 2021 TYP update is a two-year process. It started in February 2019 with the release of the Transportation Performance Report and was followed by the Transportation Survey and Online Public Meeting in March and April. The STC compiled the public feedback and shared it with the Planning Partners to shape the regional transportation plans. The regional transportation plans are part of the statewide 2021 TYP.
